Day 3 - More sight seeing around San Francisco

Started the day about 9:30am and was picked up by Jack. We headed into town to see if I could get the glass on my watch fixed. In the end it was cheaper to get a new watch. I was able to get another SKAGEN watch for US$65 which was a great deal. This one is silver and very thin, great store Coscoe.

We went back to Twin Peaks and could see the Golden Gate Bridge. I also took a nice picture form the hill to the city.

From there we then headed into the city as the cloud was starting to clear more and more. We went down the the waft area. On the way in I saw a number of trams including a Melbourne tram. This was one of the trams that I saw on the way to the waft.
On the way to the waft we saw the bay bridge, a rocket and finally fisherman's waft.

From the waft area we were able to see Alcatraz.

We then headed back into town where jack took me to see the painted ladies. These are a set of San Francisco Terrace Houses that are well maintained.

We then headed to an area that remained from one of the world trade shows early in the 1900's. This place was increasable it was as though it had been taken out of a Greek template some 2000 years ago and placed in San Francisco.

From there we headed to the Golden Gate Bridge and around the coast to the Light House. We were just to late and the tunnel was closed, but the view was outstanding.

After seeing the Golden Gate Bridge we then headed to Lands End and then onto Thanh Long Restaurant where I treated Jack for his hospitality to Roasted Crab which he recommended to be very good. He was absolutely right.

So this is the last of the sight seeing and the fun starts tomorrow with two visits. These will be to Fujitsu and Oracle.

Signing off Sunday 13th May 9:10pm
